Hola a todos,
I hope this note finds you well! Finalmente, salió el sol, the sun is finally out and my spirit feels a little brighter.
I am back with a brand new podcast episode that talks about Autism. For this episode, my guest Liz Michaels shared her life with autism, using social media platform as a way to advocate and teach others about autism.
While I have no “official” diagnosis, I have later in life realize that I fall somewhere on the spectrum. My conversation with Liz made me realize que tan importante es hablar sobre esto.
Together, we explore misconceptions, talk about terms such as “stemming” and “masking” and what they really mean.
“Autism doesn’t have a look”, Liz said while also sharing her frustration when she hears people telling her she doesn’t look autistic. We explore spaces creating sensory rooms, and why they are so needed, irregardless if you’re on the spectrum or not.
Please take a listen and check out the show notes to learn more about Liz and follow her on social media! If you love the show, please share it with friends and family and lets keep the conversation going!
